It's surely better, but don't u think that a person who's quotable is also honest ? but honest in a way that touches your soul instead of hurting it.

P.S : I loved this picture , owesome!

We Have to be Quotable all the time, but here it prefers being quotable than saying the truth
Does it work in all cases?
Sometimes being quotable just causes more disasters, the truth has to be said no matter how hard it was; it will pain, but later u knew it.
But being quotable in the unsuitable situation, could make the other live in a big illusion & then it hurts them later when they discover the truth
So which one could hurt more … living illusion, going behind the truth suffering & roaring around to get it … or know it at time ,, hurt, but then it’s gone!
And what hurts u more than ,,, asking for the truth from someone & this person tells u

“It is better to be quotable than to be honest”
how can u receive this? is this considered gracefulness, propriety ?

Diplomatic honesty is better than quoting, I guess.

yea but at least u said the truth ... not that kind of moving around!
which it could hurt more

Personally I'd rather be hit by the truth..and I do that to others too :S , BUT I learned I shouldn't do that to others cause most I've seen likes the truth sugar-coated.
So I took mercy on them :D .

so it's not an absolute rule, it depends on the type of character u r dealing with
if that person is of the type who likes to be hit by facts, or of the type who prefer veiled facts ..
So should we give everyone the thing he wants and not stick to certain behavior, which we impose upon others.
how much we know about how to do things or how we behave when we don't know what to do.
It’s frustrating when we aren’t able to understand other people's behavior.

Well Tota, let's put it the other way around.
What if u were the type of persons who likes things sugar coated?? would u like someone who imposes a truth in a way that could hurt u ??

There should be a compromise , u'll give them the truth but in the way they like , I think what matters in the end to let the truth reach them .

A little bit of flexibility won't hurt :).

yea exactely .. so being flixable by giving the truth the way the others like to hear it ... at the end we sould reach for the truth, right?!
or it's something in between
truth and repose to Take which please .. but we can never have both
