Egypt

Egypt is bigger than this
It’s not a regime …
It cant be symbolized or abbreviated in a person, or era…
For some … it is just …
A mere spot
They are standing on …
Trying to draw their gains from
others tremble …
Trying to amend or overthrow it.

Days will go by
Species will be extinct
And Egypt will remain …
Justice can’t sleep forever
If humans couldn’t save it
Allah will …
Egypt is always precious
And we are the splendid Egyptians

I can hardly disagree with anything you said, but unfortunatley some wounds are permemanent and whether we like it or not even the people have changed and were affected by the regime and it's way of treating us, the power of authority is a very harmful weapon when it is used to force an opinion, worse than that is that mainly this regime treats its own people and specially opposition as a bunch of either misleaded idiots, terrorists or power seeking maniacs and as u said this is aint going to change between a day and night.
But I really always wanted to say something once we admit that we are not GREAT EGYPTIANS who built the PYRAMIDS anymore we might be able to move on, in this rate we are hitting the bottom soon and still we would have the pyramids to talk about.
I feel most people are screaming nowadays that's why I wrote this comment mainly another scream in this world of nonsense.

Everyone is seething from current events, but everyone using his own way to express it … some would hate and object it , others scream & some may try to love it more!!

As kids we are raised to love her only to wakeup on the harsh reality that she is unlovable. We are made to recite the great adrenalin-infused anthem pleading love and promising our souls to protect and serve. We hear, listen and watch the great stories of her sons and daughters whom sacrificed their life to defend the great country, only to grow up and envy them of their demise and that they can’t witness the terrible state of their beloved nation. Then we leave her and pledge to return or not and after few years we ask ourselves do we hate her, it is possible but highly improbable. Do we miss her NO, we miss the families, the friends, the food and even the lousy domestic cigarettes but not her never her because she will live, will survive, decay and blossom again, so we learn to love our mothers, fathers and siblings, because to us they are Egypt.
